Sengstack's Video Shooting Tips

1. List and describe two things you already knew.
-Get wide and tight shots: to get tighter shots, don't use the zoom, actually get closer to the object.
-Find unusual angles: get some shots at high and low angles

2. List and describe two things you learned for the first time.
-Lean forward and backward: instead of using zoom in or out, move closer and then lean back.
-Get an establishing shot: it sets the scene for the story in one or a few sequence shots.

Shayna's Story

1. What is the role of the reporter's seques in this story?
-To transition from one event to the next (to keep the flow going through the story).  She gives extra information like that she was pregnant, and how far she fell.

2. Why do you think she did not include a stand-up in the story?
