Opening Activity 9/12/11

The 9-11 Memorial opens today to the puplic after one decade since the terror attack brought down the twin towers.  It was open yesterday to the victims' family and people attending the service.  Family members say they can go see there loved ones now and that they are home.  There are over 3,000 names on the memorial, the people who were killed on September 11th and the names of the people who died from the attack on 1993.  People say when they look at the two fountains, it gives them chills.  Also, around the memorial there are 400 trees, and all but one are new.  A "Survivor Tree" was found in the ruins after the attack that changed our country forever.
